2010 Children's Program

2010 GSLAHE Children's Program -   We recommend you pre-register - we cannot guarantee a spot at the door. WONDERFUL NOTE: All of the proceeds generated from the Children's Program will be used to help defray the costs of a special mission trip to an orphanage in Romania. Just think! Your children can have fun for 2 days and be helping needy kids in another country at the same time! An  EXCITING addition to the Children's Program! Your child will be treated to a one hour Drawing Workshop presented by Barry Stebbing on Friday and Saturday during the Children's Program.   You have the option of purchasing the following set for the class.  This is not required but Mr.Stebbing recommends: How Great Thou Art Sketchbook, 4 drawing pencils, kneaded eraser. ($7 total)  If you choose not to purchase these, we will provided any needed supplies for the workshop.   He will also have available a set of 12, good quality colored pencils ($7.50) for the Saturday art session when colored pencils will be used.  Again, this is optional.   You may included either of these payments with your registration or purchase them at the Expo.   NEW THIS YEAR: 1. We are excited to welcome the students and staff of Verity Institute to host the children's program!  2. Lower price for all levels of registration. Lower lunch price. 3. Register by Feb 28th for a chance to win $50 in "Expo Cash". (vouchers good anywhere at the Expo)  Four registrations will be drawn.   Verity Institute will be hosting the children's program at the Greater St. Louis Home Educators Expo this year. When your child comes to the Expo, he will uncover great mystery, as he seeks to learn the truth of God's word. Whether on land, or on the high seas, the mystery and adventure wait everywhere for those who attend.  No stone will be left unturned as your child searches for what every great sleuth seeks, the truth. Who is on the Verity Team? The Verity team is comprised of young adults (college age and above) that have worked with children across the United States and abroad. Their veteran experience and fun loving attitude will make the St. Louis Homeschool Expo a fun and meaningful experience to all involved.    www.verity.iblp.org You may register your child(ren), ages 6-12 for one or both days.  Children's Program hours: Fri and Sat 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Children's Program Check in begins at 8:00.a.m. each day. Both days, first child:   $25.   Additional children from same family for both days: $15 One day,   first child:   $15.   Additional children from same family for one day:    $10 Snacks will be provided. Lunch on site will be available for $3 or your child(ren) may bring their lunch.  There will be a lunch break on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm when you may pick up your children and have lunch together if you desire.  You also have the option of allowing them to spend the lunch break in the children's area under adult supervision.
